Hyronymus Jul 06, 2007, 05:43 AM OK, I'll change the orders ;).
ordinaryguy Jul 06, 2007, 09:11 AM Thank you. :goodjob:
Strangely, your orders were almost the same as mine except for the Confucian missionary. :crazyeye:
dutchfire Jul 10, 2007, 12:08 PM Would you consider building some catapults in Coppertown?
Provolution Jul 10, 2007, 12:26 PM I would love catapults from Coppertown, best unit production up north.
ordinaryguy Jul 11, 2007, 05:46 AM I mentioned in another thread that catapults and longbows were fine.
Okay then, Coppertown shall build units instead of wealth for the next TC.
Provolution Jul 11, 2007, 05:50 AM I think we should put a break on longbows, until we get Vassalage, since we otherwise cannot afford much more troops but catapults.
ordinaryguy Jul 11, 2007, 08:06 AM Sorry guys, real life has kept me away from the save. I can't issue very specific instructions.
Quoted from the Special TC thread:
Ordinaryguy asked me to post instructions for the Aimag containing Coppertown, Rheims, Marseille and Pisae.
Coppertown
Build Queue: Military units as the Warlord/DP pleases (longbows/catapults)
Rheims
Build Queue: Finish Lighthouse
Marseille
Build Queue: Finish Forge
Pisae
Build Queue: Finish Courthouse
Worker Assignments
All workers assigned to us should develop the landscape near Marseille and Pisae. Chop jungle from hills and mine and connect the hills (by roads).
Warlord, catapults it is.
dutchfire Jul 18, 2007, 08:26 AM Coppertown
Keep building units for the war requested by the DP and/or Warlord
Continue to let Coppertown grow
Chop jungle 1N of city square and build farm on it. Build watermill on grassland river tile 2E of city square.
Remove the merchant specialist to work either the newly build farm or watermill after it has been completed. Choice is up to DP's discretion.
City tiles are up to the DP's discretion.
Rheims
Complete Lighthouse, then build Confucian missionaries for other cities.
Cottage spam.
City tiles are up to the DP's discretion.
Marseilles
Complete Forge, then start lighthouse.
Cottage the 2 jungle grassland tiles 1Ne and 1SE of city square.
City tiles are up to the DP's discretion.
Pisae
Complete Courthouse, start a forge.
Hook up horses, windmill the 2 jungle hills 2N1E and 2S1E of city square.
City tiles are up to the DP's discretion.
Coppertown: Mind if I throw in a missionary every now and then if we don't need military at that moment? Edit: It looks like Coppertown is going to get the HE, should I start it this TC? Edited edit: We don't have literature
Rheims: The Lighthouse has been finished already :) May I suggest building a bank or a grocer?
Pisae: Courthouse has been completed already, and forge has been started :)
ordinaryguy Jul 18, 2007, 08:50 AM Coppertown: Ok, throw in a missionary every now and then if you want.
Rheims: I couldn't access the screenshot so I thought only Confucian missionaries for other cities was available. But a bank would be fine.
Pisae: Complete the forge, then build a granary (if it does not have one)
dutchfire Jul 18, 2007, 08:52 AM Okay, got it :D
Provolution Jul 18, 2007, 12:06 PM I would like Coppertown to produce a catapult more, then HEROIC EPIC, if Literature wins the technology poll. I am sick and tired waiting on these evasive maneuvers giving the military fruition.
The production line would then be.
1. Catapult 2 turns
2. Heroic Epic, 8 turns
after that, catapults 1 turn each.
Hyronymus Jul 18, 2007, 12:54 PM Uhm, I think Coppertown has produced the most military units currently on the map. On top of that, the Warlord didn't specify detailed instructions for military units in the past. Try complaining there (too).
ordinaryguy Jul 19, 2007, 07:31 AM Ok, Coppertown builds a catapult before HE (if it is available).
Rheims can take the job of building missionaries, when it is not it should build a bank.
Everyone satisfied?
dutchfire Jul 25, 2007, 04:18 AM Dear Governor,
Could you produce some cultural buildings in Pisae to defend our territory from Roman influence?
ordinaryguy Jul 25, 2007, 06:15 AM No problem. I was planning to build a library for the upcoming turnchat, but didn't have time to post the instructions. *great minds think alike*
