I am running a little experiment about postcounts being visible in the civ3 general forum. Please note that I actually like the way corruption works, I just want to see their reaction to a common first time poster comment made by someone with way too many posts....

Hopefully the mods won't get me for trolling!

What is your experiment and what are you trying to achieve? I'm just curious. And I hope you don't get dinged for trolling either.

I am trying to see if visible postcounts have an effect on how people react to you when you post. Or if it is based completely on the content of your post. The content of my post is a thoughtless rave about corruption being too high to see if I get the same sort of treatment a newbie would get or if they take it easy on me because of my high postcount.

The post defintly did NOT sould like the eyrei I have read. Although postcount would not have affected my response, I know with others it would have. Perhaps as an extension of your experiment, (with TF permission I guess) register under a different name in a few days and as your first post put the EXACT same thing in your post. That would complete your experiment.

It isn't really a nick, but my username at work. I didn't really expect to become addicted to Civfanatics when I first signed up, so I didn't put any thought into a nickname. Probably not a great idea to change it now, though.
