I don't know where is the search. :p

Well, I don't wanna some civilizations (read: 1/2 of they) in my game. So I wanna change their names. :D

The question is: someone have a tutorial about how make this?

Look in Civ4/Assets/XML/Civilizations. There'll be an xml file in there named 'CivilizationsInfo" Make a copy. Open the copy in notebook. Remove the ones you wanna remove. Change the name where it says <Description>your new name here</Description>. Type in new city names where the old ones are.

Save a back up copy of the original CivilizationsInfo file in case you wanna restore it!!

Drop your new one into its place. You're ready to rock!

I think you might be better off opening one of the text files, and just editing the text (not the tags) inside it.

For example, let's say you didn't want Mongolia. Find the text file (XML/Text/___.xml) which contains 'TXT_KEY_CIV_MONGOLIA' or something along those lines, and change the text inside the <English> tags (or whichever language you use) to 'Brazil' or 'Yemen' or whatever you want.

The same thing applies to the Civpedia entries (slightly different TXT_KEY name).

Any questions?
