Note: The city site in question is indicated by the yellow circle in the screenshot.

Edit: If the screenshot is not showing, you can also see it here (http://www.civfanatics.net/methos/games/dg2/1470ad_city_site_idea.JPG)

Do we build this city?
Yes
No
Abstain

Discussion thread (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=231569)

If 'Yes' receives the most votes than a settler must be placed in a build queue sometime during the next turnchat.

If 'No' receives the most votes than this city will not be built.

This poll is public and will last three days. This poll is binding. The result that receives the most votes wins.

I made this poll public due to the recent knowledge of the possibility of double votes.

I voted yes for the reasons I mentioned in the discussion thread. Basically, it would make a great mini-GP Farm. Four working citizens and a lighthouse would provide enough :food: to support five specialists. Definitely worth it IMO.

For some reason I cannot see a screenshot here or in the Discussion thread. I know the location from Provolution's prior thread - but a working screenie here would be nice ;)
I also think its worth it - so yes.

That's odd, it's working just fine for me. Here, try this instead (http://www.civfanatics.net/methos/games/dg2/1470ad_city_site_idea.JPG). It's a direct url to the jpg file.

I've editing the first post to include an url for the screenshot, in case anyone else is unable to see the pic. This statement is preceded by the Edit: remark.

Odd thing - I have noticed this a few times - some screenies I see, others I don't.
Quoting the OP doesn't help, since it also doesn't show the url...
Anyway the link works thanks :goodjob:

No - interpretation is FAR too vague.

"A settler must be placed in a build queue sometime during the next turnchat"

Are you kidding me? Who's queue? When? Can it be cancelled?

I think this is a good idea, but sheesh, the execution leaves a lot to be desired.

I actually considered this when making the poll. The statement was made so that no one could argue when, or which TC we were building the settler. I considered that if no other governor wanted to spend the time on building a settler, than I could do it in one of my own cities.

It was dismissed then, but will be built now, good work Methos. We need to cover the coast in general now.
