I gain a lot of thoughts about this type of mod that I wish to make if only I have a great amount of time to learn how to mod, and also be able to do anything. I want to make this mod that is based in our history, however a little altered stuff happens. For example, Christianity was not a dominate religion, instead greece gain control and spread their gods for them to believe. I want to make this type of mod so that we have something else to play around with.

first, I need to learn some skills on how to mod, any suggestions? I don't know if i should get a team or not or join one, cause I kinda like a slow worker type and lack of motivation or fun off of modding.

Well first learn at least enough about XML that you feel confident that if no one helped (or left you hanging there) you would be able to do what you need. Then get an understanding of python. You don't have to be the best you just need to know enough that if someone gave you a script that you would know how to use it. Then if you wanted try to learn how C++ works and see about getting a compiler and get it working.
