As stated in the title, I had an AI opponent in control of the UN propose 'Global Civic - Environmentalism' at least 3 times. It's listed on the vote screen as having passed, unfortunately I cannot remember whether it did pass or not, I wasn't paying any attention to it until it popped up for the second time and even then I forgot to take a screen shot of the vote results.

It's been several months since I last played Civ 4, but I don't ever remember seeing this in either Civ 4 or Warlords and I've never tried to re-propose a resolution myself to see if it's possible (I'll definitely try next time).

Either way I think there is a bug here: a) Environmentalism was incorrectly tagged as having passed when it didn't or b) the AI is re-proposing resolutions that have already passed. I favour b.

I've attached a couple of screen shots (both from the same game).

Sorry I've overwritten the autosave already and I'm not sure how to reproduce this, letting the AI take charge of the UN may do it, I've only played the one game so far so I'm not sure how frequent it is yet.

PS: nice avatar ainwood.

Looks to me like the AI is trying to reverse the vote on Environmentalism and make it not pass. Possibly the current UN leader wants Free Market or something else instead. I can confirm 100% that it is possible to this in Warlords (I have done it before). I am not sure if I saw the AI do it before but this shows that they are smarter now. Doesn't sound like a bug to me.

Thanks for the feedback. I never realised you could re-propose a passed resolution (never had a reason to try), I'll definitely pay more attention as to how leaders vote next time.

If I remember correctly - you could repropose as passed resolution in Warlords. To try and get the decision reversed.

If the AI is now trying to reverse decisions, that is truly a leap forward. I'm impressed.
