I don't have the game or anything yet but I have been reading more about what people like and do not like in the game.

I do not own Warlords either. People say that the vassalage system in warlords was crap and that it still is in BtS.

I think it would be an easy thing to mod, but I have no idea how to do any of that stuff.

On page 3 there is a post by ZOOLOOMAN that sounds about just right for how the vassalage system should work. I think it could be done easily if anybody who knows how agree with me.

Well after reading most of the thread, I do agree with you and Zoolooman, but something like this ranks very low on my priority list. I may give it a shot someday, but not today. To "fix" it all you really need to do is turn vassals off and just enjoy the game as is. If the master/vassal issue ever really starts bugging me, I may give it a shot though.
