I played Road to War : 1936 Europe as Finland. I chose the middle road (a bit leeway for historical moments).
In the contiuation war after I had destroyed the Soviets with axis, game kind of slowed down.
After fall of Soviet Union, Hit... I mean Vice chancellor von Papen conquered all the british holding in the middle-east and after that, everything stopped.
Now for almost three years nothing has happened except of one nuclear launch.
Otherwise the axis and allies just sit on their cities, the Axis have left Norway unconquered and U.S.A hasn't done a thing. I'd guess this is not to be expected.
I would've stopped playing long time ago but I thought that maybe this is because of the lax to historical dates allowed by the game mode I chose.
Any ideas what is wrong?

P.S. playing Finland is kind of boring too as UK never declares war.

Yes, it is kind of victory for Finland. I would've thought though that Axis & Allies would continued fighting. Maybe this is not meant to be played with neutrals, at least with noble difficulity where Russia didn't really pose much of an opponent.

Noble is "balanced for AI vs AI". I would suggest knocking it up a notch or two as a human. :)

Dale - do they get a victory message if they win?

Sadly no. The victory check would've been massively complex to check between all the teams.

Victory is attained if the Axis team (Germany/Japan) or the Allied team (UK) is eliminated.

I'm looking to change this in add-on pack 1.
