[disregard]

The bug

I put a galley, which has a worker in it, into my vassals city, which has a warrior in it, and I get a city with 2 workers! One of them is mine and the other is my vassals! The warrior has gone (or is renamed).

I've included a save.

Trigger

1) Note what's in the Galley (a Worker)
2) Note what's in Dover (a Warrior)
3) Put the Galley in Dover
4) Put the mouse cursor over Dover
5) It'll show that there's 2 Workers (one mine, one Napoleon's) rather than 1 Worker and a Warrior
6) Note that the stack icons show the correct units in the city.

Why hasn't this one been confirmed? I thought it was presented pretty well, save game and all.

Oh ok, I just thought that something was wrong with the way I presented it, that's all.

Heh, the occasional forum trolls would've kicked your behind already if that was the case ;).

These forums are pretty good with dealing with trolls though, unlike other forums.... *cough* battle.net *cough*.

Don't know whether I should do this or not, but considering the number of bug threads that are being created, if I don't bump this, it may never get noticed. So, bump :)

I didn't have time to work through these during the week, so I've been doing it for most of the afternoon! I'm only on page two, so please have patience!

I can't confirm that. Can you repeat it? (it could have been some sort of memory problem). How do you move the galley in - via right-click, or via the '3' key?

I remember testing that aspect of it too - by reloading the savegame - which reproduced the error. Hmmm. must have worked after restarting Civ4.

Sorry about that ainwood. Must have been a temporary memory thing that just required restarting the game. Things like this will probably never get fixed because it's so hard to nail :(

edit: I just realised that the screenshot didn't even capture it :( I've deleted the savegame and pic.
