Requested by me and another guy, plus sorely needed. I hope it looks ok. I think I am too much of a perfectionist..
It uses the redcoats animations.

Thanks to Bakuel for changing the Janissary's mesh around a little and adding it to the redcoats mesh also.

I made the hat, and added it on. :)

They look great General Matt! :goodjob: Now I can finally have Highlanders for the british in my game. :)
I hope you don't get too comfortable making troops instead of ships, we do need more wooden ships you know... :mischief:

 No, that is up to ya'll. (For the infantry) there was just a couple that no one was seeming to make so I though I would do..
There is still one more British unit I want to do someday, a Rifleman type, probably from the Zulu/Boer wars... But I have a few other commitments first.

Do you mean the british rifle with the red coat or the one with the khaki uniform? I wouldn't mine seeing either one eventually.

This is great. Amazing, actually. I think I'll have to use this to replace the Grenadier because I like the other British Regular for the Rifleman. (And use the vanilla redcoat as the musketman after entry into the Industrial Age).

You should make an English Musketman, too. I'm thinking something along the lines of the New Model Army.

Yeah both, I guess. And some of the Sepoy troops to now that I think of it..

Hey, I can't do to much. :p But someday for sure. ;)

 Yeah, I like them to, considering they were the "Thin Red Line tipped with Steel" that made the Russians run in the Crimean war. ;)

Yeah, I like them to, considering they were the "Thin Red Line tipped with Steel" that made the Russians run in the Crimean war.

yes, that was something to shame to remember for us, but from another side, british had the best army at that times! (there were also french on the one side with british in that little Crimenia War ;) )

Yeah, well, you guys did ok considering you had to take on two empires and the, uh French. :)
I think the best thing that came out of that though was the advances in military medicine, Florence Nightingale you know..

Plus the three legends in one battle (Thin Red Line tipped with steel, and the Charges of the Light and Heavy Brigades).

I love military history. :p

Cool looking unit. But they still need a bagpipe-player ;)

You find a unit that would have suitable animations and I will give a shot at making a bagpipe. :p

Bumpety-bump... this is a great unit... I used it to replace the "Redcoat" graphic for the English Rifleman. That Redcoat graphic was sooooo musketman... seemed way out of place.

I used the redcoat graphic for the English Musketman, and used the Highlander graphic for the English Rifleman. I even made a custom button for the Highlander.

Great unit... thanks again Matt.
