Well, we are playing according to our name (although we kept our 24h/48h rule quite well, we are just hanging in this too long). :) Old and slow. I doubt we will be able to finish before the 31st, but no request for an extension from the Geezers as we won't get an award anyway. We will up the turns per set to try finishing before the deadline, though.

MacTeam is trying to speed through to the end by the deadline... if only to grab the Wooden Spoon :p

If previous SGOTMs are an indication, you will be able to submit new saves after the deadline. However, teams that are not finished by the deadline will not be eligible for any awards.

To be more specific about the deadline ... let's add a day to cope with the US preoccupation with Halloween, plus the BtS installer upsets, and I'll use the normal International Date Line definition of midnight as per GOTMs.

So we'll close the shutters on this game at approximately noon GMT on November 2nd, in about 38 hours from the timestamp on this post.

Without putting too much pressure on our wonderful staff, but we are keen for the next one (we're gluttons for punishment).

The about 26 hours would be 7 ish on Nov 1, but you stated Nov 2, so not sure what you mean ...

My guess is you mean midnight that starts Nov 2 at the dateline, which would be ... maybe 36 hours from the time stamp of the post? (moving it to about 6 AM eastern daylight on Nov 2)

You're quite right - I only counted to midnight, not non, and missed off 12 hours. Edited and corrected.

Final score as awarded by the game. You can't see the final uploads until the game ends in 12 hours time.
