So what are the fastest build times of the great library and such wonders by you guys? In my last game as Roosevelt in highlands (edit it is great plains, my bad) I started in a capital with no less then 6 cows (3 riverside)!!!! Needless to say my production was skyrocketing within no time. I got marble with my second city and I also found stone.

When I discovered literature I checked to see how long it would take to build the great library. It turned out to be 4!!!!! turns. :woohoo: :hammer2: :rotfl: :beer: And it wasn't even the fastest wonder yet. I could build the Angkor Wat in 3 turns later in my capital. Crazy stuff. I guess industrial, marble/stone and an overabundance of cows can get take you a long way.

Still the game isn't a breeze as I got declared on by 4 enemies at once (darn buddhist block and me being confucian but in free religion at that moment). So what is your best building times ever?

Hell I have built the Great library in one turn. Of course I needed a great engineer to do it :D

Woot, took only one post to get that idea :P I thought about it first to mention it to not use a great engineer because that is like kicking in an open door.

6 cows in the capital :eek: So Highlands is cow crazy too? I thought that Great Plains had a monopoly on multicow capitals :)

you can build the GL in one turn without a GE. what you need is several workers and pre-chopped trees.

Arf Frob, again I can notice I didn't have had a good night of sleep. I was playing great plains instead of high lands. Oops there sorry.

@Sukadi: Of course that is possible but 4 turns without whipping, chopping or using a GE is something I hardly have seen so far. I even could build the spiral minaret in 3 turns and missed :lol:
