Okay, NES's interest me greatly, so I'm gonna try one.

I know everyone is probably focusing on all the ten page long SNES's, but I would appreciate it if people would reply to this.

I'm only a newbie to NES's, so tips and hints along the way would be helpful to me if anyone replies.

Rules: 1 day equals 1 year. Battles will be decided by me. PM me about any troop movements, secret attacks, etc. I must also approve of a declaration of war.

The year is 2103, and, apart from one minor war between Russia and U.S.A. because of government arguments, there is world peace. A new alien race in the Alpha Centauri solar system has recently been discovered, and relations with them have not been so good so far, and a future war with them is feared by diplomats.

Everyone has spaceships. You can make up the types of ground forces you have.

Everyone is at the same tech level, and Space Navy represents both your space navy and your airforce.

BTW, here's a timeline of the last 5 years:

2098: Communist Pact is formed.

2099: U.S.A. declares war on Russia because of their refusal to switch to Democracy.

2100: Aliens are discovered in Alpha Centauri!

2101: Battle of Kiev, Americans lose the ambush battle but the Russian defenders are depleted.

2102: Aliens demand the humans give them Light Speed tech. Scientists send message asking for counterproposal.

Today the Polloto embassy is officially under construction. The Council had come to a decision to let their diplomats come to Earth with their newly built hyperspace ships. The Persian Imperial Space Navy will be sending four 1-mile long Crown class battleships to greet the arrivals around Uranus and chaperone them to Earth.

The embassy will be constructed with the interior requested by the Polloto government, to make it seem like home to the diplomats. Once the diplomats arrive on Earth, negotiations will take place for trade of resources.

The Mobilization of the Japanese forces along the Chinese border shifted, The Japanese are now marching right into Siberia of Russia, in concordane with the Germans. The Russians will definetly not have the ability to fight a two-sided war. The Japanese needed more land, as did the Germans, making the Germans proposol mighty fine.......(4/5 of the Japanese army is in Russia)

Hello, friend. I share in the common belief that Russia has to much land while we have to little. I have started an attack from their Eastern front, and hopefully will be able to stretch their forces thin enough to be able to overrun them. While I believe that we should have more territory, I do not believe that the Russians should not have any either. So my propsol is that the Russian government be left a land in upper Russia in the central. See my map I have sent you. What do you think of this?

P.S. Warlord, are the green colonies in Africa Japanese or Australian?

Today the German and Japanese armies crushed most of Russia in a combined effort. Their hovertanks and infantry scored huge victories against the unprepared Russian forces. St. Petersburg, Novagorod, Smolensk, Minsk, and Stalingrad are all in German and Japanese hands. But the Russian military (what's left of it) is mobilizing for a surprise attack, says Rueters. We are not yet sure if this is true.

A few hours ago the Japanese and German forces entering Russia were absolutely massacred when the whole remaining Russian army made a furious and desperate counterattack. 3/4 of both the Japanese and German armies remain after the battle. With few losses, the Russians are moving on to recapture their stolen territory.
Also, the first space engagment of the Russian War took place on Monday, between the entire German Space Navy and the entire Russian Space Navy. The battle was very intense, with heavy losses on both sides. But a clever surprise attack by a small group of Russian destroyers helped the win the battle. The battered German Navy returned to the space station Hindenburg II to be repaired, while the Russian ships headed toward the Stalin.
Also, PSB (Persian Spacecraft Builders) Co. have just announced they beginning construction on a new space battleship design, the Crown class battleship, which will be 15 miles long and carry 4 two-mile long laser turrets, capable of bombarding and destroying the city of Chicago from space. The Persians hope this ship will revolutionize spacecraft forever. After all, bigger is better!

The worn down Japanese army regrouped and came back in a counter counterattack. This attack was headed by the reinforcements that the emperor set out a while ago. With the hover tanks and jets compared to just the ground army of Russia, Japanese would be quick and disisful to destroying the army. Meanwhile, the entire space Navy of the Japanese moved into attack the worn-down Russian space Navy for control over Russia. Frsh reinforcements, just out of the Japanese training facilities, were on their way to act as reinforcements too. Tomsk was horridly bombed as it was the main point of the Russian army.

The Italian Gaurd(1/4 of my army) was sent to Russia and regrouped with the remaining forces. The remaining forces were in tatters, but with the help of the Italian Gaurd, they were still one of the greatest forces out there. They immediatly counterattacked to gain the rest of Russia.

Japanese Democratic nation has begun extensive training of the new 5,000,000 troop army, which ranks almost the most powerful army in the world. More and more hovertanks are in production in the commandeered Russian factories. New mines spring up in siberia, where right petroleum is not sparse. A secret plan of attack is planned.

Chancellor Chris, looking at his maps, sees all the resources that he has taken from Russia. Not to mention the millions of people and factories. Chancellor Chris orders the training of Russian men to commence immediatly. Also, all the German cities are producing hovertanks and space navy things.

"Japan is building up for an attack it seems," Chris thought, "Well, were not going to be taken off guard if they do attack us. We will have a larger, more advanced army."

I don't want this NES to be barbaric, I am trying to model it after Uknes, a really good one. Take a look at Uknes to see what I mean. So sorry Anarchy and thebignastyone, you need a reason to declare war.

I am being realistic. What about Hitlers invasion of Poland. What did they ever do to the world. Power is a scary thing, and some people will kill millions to get it.

Arrrghh, I don't think I can continue this one, it has no combat system! I can't resolve any combat at all between Persia and Rome and Germany or whatever. Look, I have a combat system and good unit list in Age of Chivalry, so please join that one! I don't want to continue this one, it sucks anyway!
