I've posted three screenshots of my intial starting location and surrounding terrain. I wanted opinions on where I should place some of my cities. I've chosen an Archipelago map and as such want to make sure i'm making the most use of my land.

The site SE of the northern fish is great, it will have a fish resource and with a lighthouse, another two +1 food tiles. It can be used for specialists.
I'd also put some cities in the south, and then I'd start building galleys to settle overseas.

Here is my best shot at the south. I personally wouldnt bother with the north, but the above poster suggested a pretty decent site for those fish.

Thank you for the suggestions Sigmakan. I'll get to work busting out my settlers!

Ductfire, i'll see how everything goes once i'm settled in the south and decide from there if I shall take your northen city advice.

I'm thinking the site with copper will be my production city, what do you think?

I think the three best sites are 2E 1S of the fish, 2E 1S of the stone and 1N of the pigs. Site 1 will have copper and will be on a hill for a defense bonus, site 2 will have stone, fresh water and will be on a hill for a defense bonus and site 3 will have rice and pigs. They'll all be coastal cities too.
