Well, I am still waiting for my copy of BtS. I have really been looking forward to the expanded "epic game" - although from what I have seen of Next War I am a little disappointed. So, browsing around the site, I came across this mod, Genetic Era. It looks to be what I was hoping Next War would be as far as a future timelime goes. The feature list is pretty incredible - I will post a link, read the first TWO posts to see what I am talking about.

So, what I am asking is, can anyone that has played both Next War and Genetic Era dare to compare the two? I'd really like to try GE myself but unfortunately I don't have Warlords :(

edit: Hell, now I find this ViSa mod that has Genetic Era included, along with a billion other things.. also only for Warlords!! ARGH

Imo ViSa has so much stuff in it it's really just tossed together and unpolished/unbalanced.

Next war looks more realistic than Genetic Era, but both are still pretty good.

I actually like atleast NextWar. I love that its the same game with only a few units changed mainly. Sometimes all you need is small changes for a successful mod
