in the forum redisign-thread (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=21857) there were discussions about redisigning the forum-subforums. since the discussion stopped, i thought we could vote on the result to see wether it is accepted as is by citizenry or wheter there are any further comments.

Proposal for realignment of the Demo Game forum

Main Forum - Game play related information
Chat Turn Threads
Constitution
Census
Needed Stuff
What is the Demo Game? (intro thread)
Province Map
Citizens should not open threads here. All threads sticky

Government Sub-forum - Government related information
Government Threads
Elected/Appointed Officials Listing
Province Threads
Budget
Trade Table
Election threads (nominations, polls)
Citizens are allowed to post, but not to open own threads. All discussion should be spawned to the citizen forum with only a link in the governmental forum to avoid clutter. the result of the discussion should be brought back to government-forum thereafter.

Citizen Sub-forum - Citizen related information
Citizen groups
Discussions
City threads
Important threads should be sticky

Poll Sub-forum – Polls
Citizen Polls
Council Votes
* Active polls should be sticky, inactive or obsolete polls closed and unstickied.
* All polls should contain start- and endate along with a link to the coresponding discussion thread

Please also vote in the turn-chat thread poll (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=23443)!

This poll will be up for 5 days from 27.05.2002 on.

My only comment has to do with Main Forum All threads sticky. ???

Doesn't that defeat the purpose of sticky threads?

Otherwise, I like it. :goodjob:

i thought it doesnt matter, because there should be no other threads. if a citizen dares to post there, his thread will be below the allowed threads though, which will hopefully not animate others to open threads there.
