Does anyone know what it is called, or the lyrics. I personally like the song, but not the menu pic of the building. It sounds... Imperialistic. I haven't seen anyone talk about it yet.

I think the song is a jumbled mess with an annoying melody.

I'm quite surprised - I think the menu and music is such a bad selection, it's hard to imagine how it was accepted. Someone must have realised that because they added the option to change it back to Baba Yetu! :D

The background is nice, but I can't get into the music. It just feels generic and uninspired. People can say what they will about Baba Yetu and Al Nadda, but I don't think anyone would argue that they weren't original.

I'd still like to know more about the BtS tune, though. What's it called? What are the lyrics? I swear it sometimes sounds like English, but if that's what it is I can't quite make it out.

At least some of the lyrics are from Walt Whitman's poem Passage to India.

If it is , I like it . It fits with either the Apostolic Palace or the Charlemagne scenario .

The new menu music is very good, though I wish I could randomize what menu pops up when I start the game. All the menu music was great, but I hated the Warlords menu background.

The opening music is 'meh'. It's nice, but it can't hold a candle to 'Al Nadda' and doesn't even come close to Baba Yetu. The menu was terribly disappointing, though.

You can change the background by going into Advanced, then options, then graphics. There you will find a drop down menu for all of the Backgrounds.

I switched to vanilla menu but I also added at the Rome Total War music to a custom folder when I play. It fits right in.

So nobody managed to answer the question yet? As in, "what's the name of the BTS opening menu music called"?
