This needs to be patched imo.

In my most recent game Boudica attacked me despite the fact that I had 4 designated pacts with other powerhouses through the A. Palace. It was suicide on her part.

This needs to be changed.

Chalk it up to personality. Wasn't the historical Boudica somewhat suicidal in her tactics?

In my last game, I asked Gilgamesh to attack an alliance of 4 nations thanks to the AP. When I moused over it (it was red) he said, "You must be joking...''

So it seems to me that it's more of a matter of personality.

i don't think so. in warlords it was common knowledge that the ai doesn't take into account dp when attacking. my sense is that that is unchanged.

They say that when they and you are both friendly to the civ you want them to attack. They just can't believe you're such a bastard so they think you're just joking ;)
