donsig May 28, 2002, 09:52 PM Fox Nest: Smith's Trading Co., bank, knight
Eyr: bank, cathedral, granary
Khatovar: bank, cathedral, university
Chie: bank, knight, knight
Asyut: market, settler, university
Lutetia: university, cathedral, granary
Malinalco: aqueduct, Magellan's Voyage, harbor, bank
Current build is in bold.
Please send some workers to Khatovar- it needs mines and irrigation.
In Malinalco please change the laborer from the fish to the irrigated plains so the aqueduct will be done in 4 turns instead of 5.
donsig May 28, 2002, 10:16 PM Alexandria: aqueduct, university
Heliopolis: market, university, temple
Tlaxcala: temple, walls, university
Please send some workers to Alexandria as there are unimproved tiles being worked in the area. We also need a road to Tlaxcala that is within our borders.
Please adjust laborers in these cities to induce WLTKD.
Justus II May 29, 2002, 09:05 AM I haven't seen the budget allocations yet, so I am not sure what we will have available, but at this point my priorities are to support the CAP program. That would involve rushing a temple in New Cap City, if it is within my budget (would cost 224 if we switched immediately, currently building a wall). If the military department will allow that. Otherwise, I recommend they rush the wall, so that I can then rush the temple, which would cost 236 if we just put one shield on it.

donsig May 29, 2002, 11:11 AM Culture: 432 gold
FA: 28
Military: 180 gold
Trade: 28
Current Accounts are now:
Culture: 436 gold
Domestic: 0 gold
FA: 28 gold
Military: 180 gold
NSD: 156 gold
Trade: 28 gold
I have allocated enough to rush temples in New CAP City and Tlaxcala, and to upgrade 3 pikemen though each department is free use its funds as it sees fit.
donsig May 29, 2002, 11:17 AM Please leave the luxury rate at 0%
Please set the tax and science rates at 50% each. This will give us physics in 7 turns and a 15 gold/turn surplus.
When we are within one turn of getting physics please lower the science rate as much as possible while still allowing physics in one turn. This is an effort to bring more gold into the treasury for one turn. After we get physics please return the rates to 50% each for tax and science.
The domestic department strongly reccomends that PDX be switched from a bank to the palace for pre-building a wonder. Information polls have indicated that we should concentrate on great wonder building.
donsig May 29, 2002, 11:21 AM We have cities in Normandy that are currently undefended. This is due to the shufling of muskets to the border cities. We should be sending pikemen back to these inner cities.
Khatovar needs workers to irrigate and mine the area. We need a road down to Tlaxcala that is within our borders.
We also still have some unconnected resources and luxuries.
Justus II May 29, 2002, 02:40 PM Culture Department Instructions:
Use our budgeted funds to rush temples in New CAP City and Tlaxcala. I have sent SKILORD a message to request changing the build queue at New CAP City from a wall to a temple, so it can be rushed, then returned to wall. This supports both the Cultural Assault program and helps insure against culture flips against us at Tlaxcala.
Eklektikos May 29, 2002, 03:46 PM Here are the build queues for Asphinxia:
El Amarna - courthouse, temple, marketplace
Callisto - temple, walls, courthouse.
Abydos - courthouse, temple, walls.
Memphis - musketman, walls, courthouse, temple.
Thebes - Forbidden Palace, marketplace
Byblos - courthouse, temple, barracks
Elephantine - courthouse, temple, marketplace
Anyang - library, courthouse, temple
We can get WLTK day again in Thebes by moving a labourer from normal flood plains to flood plains w/wheat, and recruiting the labourer from the grassland w/road tile to the east of the city and one of the forest labourers as entertainers.
Chieftess May 29, 2002, 03:50 PM *Chieftiess walks in*
*Oh! So this is where it was*
ok.. here's what I found.
India:
Contact w/England, Metallurgy --> Ivory, 462 Gold
World Map --> Ivory or 75 gold (we get a territory map of England)
England:
Give England 20 gold upfront. This will make England polite.
(it seems a lump sum improves relations more than GPT)
Greece: Give 20 gold, not GPT, and they will be polite
--------
Right after contact with England:
Aztecs (I'm cautious about this one)
Comm. w/England --> WM, 2GPT, 30 gold up front
==
A message from Cyc:
workers needed
was wondering if Khatovar could hire some workers (even some of those caputured slaves you use) to irrigated my deserts and put in some roads? We are at zero growth. We need to increase our pop to better serve Phoenatica. Please help.
