Hey guys,

i played the most boring game in my Life! First a short Lineup, then some screens. Game was Emperor Continents, Standart with Aggressive AI.
I Was on a Island with Sitting Bull and Ashoka. From -1000 BC (poped HA, BW and pottery !) to ~300 AC i whipped out Sitting Bull. From then on Ashoka, who founded Judaism.
I Had a powerhorse Capital and builded the AP, Pyramids, GW(Golden Age at -2000 BC was godlike! Try it to prepare for war), GL,ToA, Angkor wat and hanging gardens. Ashoka builded most of the other Wonders like Collosus, great lighthouse, The 2 religouse Wonder and notre damm.

1300 i was first to Liberisam
Ok, before it gets borring:1600 AC or so i whipped out Ashoka and wondered about the fact, that noone from the other continent reached me until then. So i scouted myself.

Isnt that Awesome ? Ragnar, IMHO, the most aggressive BtS AI, Brenus and Stalin. No wonder noone builded a Wonder.

From there on the game was allreay won, thats for sure. However i played on until 1887 when my Ship launched. Some more screens from those insane Citys(State P. and castle system for the work shops and +10% hammers)

What difficulty level did you say you were playing on? Getting all that stuff is just ridiculous :D

Oh, and btw, it's "built," not "builded"

Yeah Agressive is a lot easier for me as well, The first one I played ended abruptly when I used modern armors vs calvalry around 1850. Despite what the powergraph said, catapaults/ calvalry are slaughtered rather efectively by a 40 str unit. The trick is just surviving the beginning, so an early millitary build up is essential. Going early hereditary, and growing massive cities (15+ size by AD1), with the mega cities, being cottage cities, surrounded by several heavy production centers, for the unit spam, with 1-2 wonder production cities, is a sure win on agressive.
Non agressive AI in fact has a far greater chance of beating you, especially if you get a couple peacemongers, on the other continent.

I can attest he was playing on Emperor, as I tried his savegame, you're a good player but maybe you should play on pangea with a bit more civs, so that by the time you're over rushing you wont dominate a continent.

Nice game anyway, Bjorn the Ethiopian hehe

I think maybe you should up the difficulty a level? Maybe the AI is no match for you at that level.

But yes, I do think the AI do not tech as fast because all of them have much larger armies.

I always play epic, Prince, Agressive AI, and ive been losing 2/3 of my games since i got BTS and the Solver mini patch. I dont know what happens, i start very well, go for an early unit spam, and its not so hard to eliminated one AI or at least slow him down a lot. Then by gunpownder age, no matter how much i concentrate on my military, my navy will always be overwhelmed and the temptation to play like a builder when i feel 'safe' is what keeps me away from the top of the power graph. And then someone declares war on me. Also i feel bad cutting my forests :p

Hereditary Rule is THE civic it seems. On my last game i declared war on my ex-vassal and in two turns got a -20 unhappines on my larger cities from War Wearingness. I moved troops around on my homeland and kept all cities from starving, but damn!

Agressive AI makes the game much more enjoyable, peacefully building an empire is boring, but it seems sometimes the AI HAS TO declare war on someone, no matter his relations with him.

I would love to, but my PC is way to slow to play with more than 7 Civs ;/

And Pangea ... i hate it pretty much. If 1 or 2 aggressive AIīs are around you itīs just massing units

Take a break and look at your capital and the map around it for some minutes. If u have low food high production citys it is ok to stay at size ~6
Also hereditary Rule is nice, but at the Time u declare on an ex-vassal u should have very much happynes from theaters, kolluseums e.t.c. .
Use the Culture Slider and whipe him out, u want the unhappynes to go away rig
Also i always save around 1000 gold in the mid game for events or wars where i need my clulture slider!
