I got Civ 3 Complete some months ago. Installed it, played it, had a lot of fun. Then I had to resintall it due to disk space limitations, which are now no longer a problem, so I reinstalled it. But now it doesn't work. Whenever I start the game, no text is displayed anywhere. The menu is blank. The world creation displays are textless. And so on.

Is this some kind of well known problem? Something I caused by accident? Something I can easily fix?

I would try to use the program "Disk Defragmentor" in "Accessories".
