Hi! I'm try to add a corsair model to civ IV BTS. I'm using 3ds max 7, and I've read a bunch of sharicks (Manly the guide to creating units V 0.9) tutorials (and a few other guys) and followed their instructions the best I can, I'm also using the nif viewer and using a few Civ models I've download for a guide line to set up the hierarchy for my fighers dummies and bones and so far so good. I'm using the vanilla Civ IV fighter animations. However when I get my unit in game I have two little probelms (not huge but I would like to fix them).
1st: When the fighter flies over an enemy to atack them the Vanilla Civ fighter has a muzzle flash when it fires. When my corsair cruises over the enemy there is no flash (I can here sound but their is no flash).
2nd: When the fighter is intercepted once again no gun flash and ontop of that there is no smoke/explosion animation that the fighters usually have.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I've created Effect_MachineGunFireLeft and right dummies and placed them just ahead of my fighters wings in 3ds Max and I linked them to the Effects but still nothing :(
