Just wondering if I'm nearly alone with Vista problems here or if everyone's having problems with it and is just playing Civ4 instead.

C3C works fine for me. CivAssist doesn't :sad:

I wasnt sure if it was going to work...But I decided to try it because I love the game! Mine works smooth and without a single problem.

That may be because I have a newer version of Civ 3 (Civilization Chronicles...I'm not exactly sure when it was released, but it has the Civ 3 Complete version on it along with every other version of Civ released before the 2 expansions for Civ 4)

No. You're not alone. When I attempt to run the game, I receive an error message stating that "font 28" can't be found. The game then exits. I never make it to the homescreen. I get to the autorun menu and get the above error. I've visited the various developer and other support sites before coming here to discuss, and have found no Vista Patches. Anybody else have any ideas?:badcomp:

Have you tried this (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=224200), legio XII? I don't think that error is Vista-specific - IIRC I got that when I first installed it on Win98 back in 2003.
