I know others have done this kind of thing before, well here is my version.

I think Rivers with banks look better when they go through jungles and forests and over irrigation.

I have also used the extended deltas so that the river delta always makes it to the sea.

Comments/suggestions please.

Here is a shot with some more mountains, they will still be blocked by the mountains like any other rivers.

That's just a Menacing Red Orb. I accidentally put up the wrong preview.
