I thought such a thread could be nice to make it a little less confusing with all the matches in the World Cup (and the threads coming matches, your expectations, news about the possible line-up, etc..

So I'll make a start:

TOMORROW'S (1st of June) MATCHES:

- Ireland vs. Cameroon
- Uruguay vs. Denmark
- Germany vs. Saudi Arabia

Any thoughts or wishes?

I would like to see Uruguay winning.

They are in the cup because of us,

A tie was arranged between Argentina and Uruguay in our last match to allow them to go to the world cup and to do not allow Chile to go there. :goodjob:

I've got a feeling Cameroon might sneak a win, with all the problems in the Irish camp over Roy Keane it will certainally be interesting to se how they play tommorow.

As for the other games, not sure really, but i'm guessing a draw between Uruguay and Denmark and a victory for Geramny.

Ireland v Cameroon and Denmark v Uruguay are pretty hard to calll, judging by Senegal's upset today. Saudi Arabia is a fugging pushover for Germany, kinda a practice for the later Ireland matchup. If the Saudis pull a win, I'll just have to bet all my money on the U.S. winning the cup

TOMORROW'S (2nd of June) MATCHES:

- Argentina vs. Nigeria
- Paraguay vs. South Africa
- England vs. Sweden
- Spain vs. Slovenia

I think Argentina and England are the favourites in their games, but Sweden and Nigeria may well surprise me.
I don't know too much about both Paraguay and South Africa, from what I know I'd say it may go either way.
Spain will beat Slovenia if not for their usual failing at World Cups...

My 2 cents.

Argentina, Paraguay, Sweden and Spain will win.

In general south american teams are stronger than african teams, and after the upset of yesterday (Senegel-France 1-0) they will be warned.
Engeland-Sweden is difficult to predict, but Engeland is (as usual) overestimating itself, so a surprise is quite possible there.
Spain is much stronger than Slovenia.

Chilavert will not play. He's suspended.
You'll hasve to wait some more.
I very excited with Group F games.
The group of death will start its quest today. :D
Argentine and England will win IMHO.

I'd certainly say both Argentina and England go into tomorrow as favourites to win, but realistically, anyone in that group could win. The results will most likely go the way of the teams that get the decisions. I certainly think Argentina and England have the stronger squads, though. Both are fully fit IIRC, and Sweden may have a few first team regulars out.

I'd say Paraguay will most likely triumph over South Africa, even without Chilavert for the game (is he banned for one or two more matches? I know he had a four match ban).

Spain - Slovenia. As I said Spain would win the tournament this time around, I'm going for them! :D
