Since i am making the city, i might as well create a generic splash for the Byzantine Empire.

The building (the crown) is using the generic kingdom graphic found in MEM.
The splash is part of the metropolis i am creating.

Well it is supposed to be a sort of hill.

I think you should reduce the "reflection" of the mud texture... looks shiny, almost glowing! :D Also that would darken it a little and I think it would look more natural if it's a bit darker... :)
