we were better. the englishmen didn´t have a real chance to score exept on that corner.

In the first we were better but in the second half we deserved to lose heavily...Well bring on Argentina...

I think they are happy that they managed to escape with a draw. Sweden dominated the second half.

I don´t think that England will manage the group with only one point after this game. But I hope they will :)

England was sort of disapointing to me. I thought that Owen and Beckham played much better than they did today. Well, better for us.

England deserved to win until Sweden scored their goal. England had dominated the game up till then. Sweden got a lucky goal and then they were a better side. :mad:

England played to much long balls, too much like wimbledon's old style.

England after their goal should have kept the ball and made sweden work for it, but we gave the ball after too often. there's no point in long balls to two strickers who are 5:8 and he the big swedens just drop off. And what is heskey doing on left midfield he's a centre forward.

if England keep the ball and play better football then we might get a draw against Argentina and a win against Nigerina, then will be just get through.

The English were far superiour in the first half, but should have used that advantage too score more goals. Instead it looked like the English players thought "Hey, 1-0, we have won this game, what a piece of cake, now lets defend ourselves for the last 70 minutes." You don´t win any games with an attitude like that.

So true, if it wasn't the World Cup I'd say we deserved to lose... :(
