Hi, Im running Windows XP and I've installed Civ 3 and C3C separately.

Civ 3 runs fine but when I try to run C3C the splash screen shows, the screen goes black as though it's about to start twice, then nothing happens.

Everything is up to date.

What could be wrong?

I dont think you can have both at the same time. uninstall Civ3 Vanilla, and reinstall Complete, if you want to play your vanilla saves, go into the complete directory, and look for the civ3.exe and use it(it looks the same as the original vanilla .exe)

sorry i wrote the wrong thing.

when i say c3c i should have said conquests. civ 3 works fine but conquests has the crashing problem.

do you have PTW?

yeah, the conquests that i bought came with ptw on the same disc.

Im not sure then, try reinstalling it.
