I just tried the demo and surprisingly it worked very smoothly on my onboard video (new G33 bearlake intel chipset). Rest of the spec's: e4400 chip and 2 gigs of RAM.

I'm just curious if anyone had any thoughts on whether the demo is a good indication of how the full game will run, all things being equal (i.e. similar size map, and same number of civ's).

Loved the demo, and looking forward to trying the full game! Thanks for any advice.

I think that's half the point of the demo. It should work, so go for it already.
