Yes. There are currently some bugs (to have Vista better compatibility, you should use patch 3.03, but this patch has other issues because it was built on a bad branch of the code), but I'd expect full Vista compatibility with the next patch.

Combat graphics may be unrelated to the actual outcome of the combat. Some users report crashes after patching from 3.02 to 3.03. Lead designer Alexman said that 3.03 was mistankenly built from a bad branch of the code, so it's not recommended to use it unless you have to. Unfortunately, as I understand it, you *do* have to use it if you're running Vista, because it contains a Vista-specific fix that isn't present in 3.02. That's a bad situation for Vista users because it forces them to use a patch that was built from bad code. But the problem should be remedied with the next patch.

If your geting a comp with Vista you should get a video card with a least 286MB of video RAM and 2GB of system RAM.:goodjob:

I'd try out the game with 3.02 first, and only patch to 3.03 if you experience very serious problems. I'm running Vista, and it seems if anything slightly more stable with 3.02 than 3.03. The only slight irritation was having to add the desktop icon manually, since for some reason the installer doesn't do that on a vista machine.

I didn't even bother to download a patch. I am playing on my new computer with Vista 64 Bit on huge maps almost without any problems.
Almost because the game freezes from time to time (happens once every two or three days).
