Uranium is found, mined,connected to the cities but is not recognized.
Can't build an attack sub,etc.

Has anyone seen this problem?

So you can't build or upgrade Destroyers either until Fission is discovered...? Hnnnngh.

Poison... Poison... Poison... Poison... Poison... No Coal... Poison... Poison... after my second full game through after BtS arrived, I can't say the base game is proving much fun at all.

You can build Destroyers with either Oil or Uranium. Don't need Fission for Oil. :)
But yes, the game interface is very misleading with regards to Uranium.

dus anybody no where i can find uranium on the map iv looked every where and i cant find it:nuke:

You have to have the Physics technology to reveal Uranium on the map. If you have this, turn on resource icons (CTRL+R) and zoom out to globe view and look from there (the icon is a barrel with the triangle-y radioactive symbol on it). If yuo can't find it, you may be playing a perculiar map script that rarely generates Uranium, like Great Plains.
