Anyone here still have that game? I found it in the attic and installed it on my laptop (Windows XP)

But the mouse stops working when I get to the game settings (galazy age and size, etc.) Any way to get it to go past that point?

Sorry, no idea on the mouse problem, (except did you try compatibilty mode?) - but perhaps you can try running the DOS version under dosbox?

OK googling a little, they say the mouse cursor moves too fast or something - try holding the shift or enter key? Or run moslo to slow down the system.

Unfortunately, the only advice I can offer is to check the Master of Orion forum here. (http://forums.civfanatics.com/forumdisplay.php?f=98) If there's nothing there, you might try Apoloyton's Master of Orion (http://apolyton.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?forumid=132) forums. I run MOO2 on an XP machine. The only real problem that I run into is that my mouse moves too fast. I think I run it in compatibility mode. I don't use dosbox myself, but I've heard that it works well.
