If Denmark wins or ties vs. France, Denmark will go to 2. round.
If Senegal wins or ties vs. Uru, Senegal will also go to 2. round.
But if France/Uruguay wins it will be decided by the best score.

France is doomed. I caught a bit of today's match, and the French couldn't buy a break.

Senegal wins against Uruguay, and France wins Denmark with a 2 goal difference.

I voted for Senegal and Denmark though, as I reckon Senegal will get at least a draw and a French win by 2, although possible, will be difficult - maybe if they keep 11 players on the pitch!

Wins for France and Uruguay would make it exciting though

I'd have to say Denmark and Senegal. Both are performing well, esp for Senegal which is beyond expectations. France is pathetic this time round. :rolleyes:

I must say France has looked awful.But I can see them going thru...maybe.They will need a big win and some help from the other 2..they certainly don't deserve it based on their play so far.

Will Zidane be back?...how fit will he be?....can he make the difference?..what about Djorkaeff?...Thierry Henry will sit out...Leboeuf is now injured...they are in complete dissarray.

I think the Zidane factor will be a clincher. Just for moral as well as anything else.

Danmark and Senegal may not lose. France and Uruguay need to win. I personally think France and Senegal will reach the second round. Sorry for Danmark.

Senegal will win against Uruguay and France-Denmark will be a draw, thus Senegal and Denmark will make it. :)

I can see France winning by two goals and Senegal at least getting a point against Uruguay, so I think it will be Senegal and France who go through.

France may score one against the Danes, but they have little hope of advancing. Uruguay may have more to say about the french advancing then the french do...

My prediction is 1-1 in both matches, which will mean Denmark and Senegal will go to the second round.

Well Denmark won and Senegal drew 3-3 so Denmark go throu as winners with Senegal in second. So if England now win and Sweden draw, we should play Senegal in the next round.
