Hi

http://www.groundtruthtrekking.org/WildCoastMap.jpg

I'm looking for a map script to generate random coast/seaside maps. I didn't found anything like this, so posting request here.

I also have some suggestions for some more switches for such map script.
Except those standard (size, climate, sea level, era, speed) of course :)
World wrap is flat so there's no need to add this switch.

meh. Personally, I do not enjoy "edged" maps and have stopped playing on them. I do think some of your suggestions would be very welcome additions to some globe-generating scripts, though. . .

Cool idea!

This would be a perfect game to use "canal" cities or forts (in BtS) to connect these "fjords". Maybe not all that useful, but I always like that concept.

Nice idea, MusX!

How about generating a pangea map, divided in quadrants like

1|2
3|4

and then cropping the map to just one of those quadrants? Wouldn't that yield more or less what you requested?

I think I'll go and find out!
