Look at the screenshot. The AP religion was Buddhism and Isabella was the resident. I was shocked when this option came up. I thought you can't declare holy war on "full members"?

I thought you can't declare holy war on "full members"? Krikkitone Sep 20, 2007, 12:35 AM Montezuma might not be full member... if he made his state religion buddhism when he Had Buddhist cities, and then lost all his Buddhist cities, he would lose all his votes and become a nonmember, but his State religion would remain Buddhist. Bast Sep 20, 2007, 09:58 AM Montezuma might not be full member... if he made his state religion buddhism when he Had Buddhist cities, and then lost all his Buddhist cities, he would lose all his votes and become a nonmember, but his State religion would remain Buddhist. So you're saying that he only had one city left and it didn't have Buddhism so he wasn't a full member thought his state religion is still clearly Buddhism? I don't know. Looks wrong to me. How can you not be a full member if your state religion is still Buddhism. In any case, it surprised me how quickly Isabella would back stab someone sharing the same religion. I thought she was friendly to those who shared the same religion? Krikkitone Sep 26, 2007, 03:52 PM ^ He can't be a Full member because he is a Non-Member anyone with 0 votes is a Non-Member (it works with the UN too) if you 'require complete kills' a civ can survive with nothing more than a wandering empty trireme, and the UN can demand that you embargo them.. because they are not a member of the UN because they don't have any votes. KMadCandy Sep 28, 2007, 01:17 AM So you're saying that he only had one city left and it didn't have Buddhism so he wasn't a full member thought his state religion is still clearly Buddhism? I don't know. Looks wrong to me. How can you not be a full member if your state religion is still Buddhism. yes, i had that happen to me within the last week, and it was actually monty too. he changed to the AP religion during the war, and then i razed the only city he had with that religion. like Krikkitone said, membership is based on votes, which comes from pop in the cities with the AP religion, and not what you say you believe in. in my game, monty had 3 cities left but none of were conf. so we all could tell he was faking it and not a true believer. it sure made me laugh tho. there's another potentially confusing case: you can be just a voting member, even tho the AP religion is your state religion, if you defied a vote recently. you get demoted to "voting member" until you vote yes on a resolution that passes. |
