In our multiplayer game, one of us is playing the Sumerians. Once the person researched Code of Laws, the option of building a Ziggurat (nor courthouse) was offered to her in the city build queue.

- When checking the Technology Advisor, no Courthouse (nor its special version) is listed under Code of laws.
- When looking at the Code of Laws in Civilopedia, the Courthouse and other special versions of it (but NO ziggurat) are visible to her.
- However in the Ziggurat is visible in the 'All buildings' listing in Civilopedia.

All the other players could build courthouses just fine.

We are playing Beyond the Sword version 3.03, Vanilla and Warlords both installed before BtS. Same result when loading the savegame on 2 different computers. We will stop playing the game until the player can get the courthouse back somehow, no point otherwise.

I'm not sure what your problem is - in your last screenshot it very clearly says that the Ziggurat requires Priesthood, not Code of Laws. And considering she hasn't researched Mysticism yet, she's not going to have Priesthood, therefore she can't build the Ziggurat yet.

Yeah, the main bonus of Sumer's Unique building is that you can research Priesthood before other players can research Code of Laws. Of course, you miss out on that if you go up the other branches of the tech tree.

I still think there's a bug, insofar as the Ziggurat text doesn't mention this huge advantage.

Yes, it's cheaper than the Courthouse, but that's small compared to not needing Code of Laws to build them!

Are there any other UBs where the tech requirements are different from the generic building they replace?
