Hi,

first of all excuse me for my english, but its not my native language.

I got a big problem with Civ BTS (and vanilla 2, but not with warlord), my computer dont recognize the dvd.

I did all i could but it wont work. So now im verry happy i can finally play Bts with no-cd crack. BUt its not enough. I got a *mod* message when i join a multi game and thats difficult for ladder games.

So my question is, someone has any idea of how i can fix my computer so that he can recognize Bts dvd?

there are various reasons this could happen some are:
1) the dvd drive has an issue with the copy protection - try looking for new drivers/firmware for your drive
2) you have a virtual cd/dvd drive installed (it does not need to be active) - uninstall that
3) you use an ipod or similar device that installed a Drive Letter Management software - uninstall that.

Is there a way to test if we have:

3) you use an ipod or similar device that installed a Drive Letter Management software - uninstall that.

because playing with hacked copies of the game just because the game has disfunctional copy protection is annoying.

2) if you look at the drives that are installed there would be an additional drive that is usually named like a cd/dvd copying program you use.
3) I know that Ipod asks you to install a program called DLM every time you use it until you actually do so. If so when checking the software you can uninstall it should list either as DLM or Sony DLM or something like that...
