I found the one about tactics vs strategic vs resource managing somewhat telling, I guess. For anyone reading this, but not listened to the podcast, I they replied that civ always fell between the latter two, and not so much the first. I gotta say, I find this a little disappointing, as it mostly leads to the avalanche power dynamic which I've always felt hinders excitement of the game, especially in MP. More on this later...
