Could "Superclubs" as Real Madrid, Bayern Muenchen, Barcelona, Liverpool F.C. or Juventus win the World Cup?

...Supposing that you could to clone the players, in order that they could play in his club and his national selection simultaneously :crazyeye:

Possibly. After all, the top clubs consist of numerous internationals and train/play together intensely for many months of the year.

Most likely yes. They have players from all over the world chosen after their abilities on their respective positions. They don't have to take the best Spanish (for example) right defender if he shouldn't be that good. They'd just replace him with a frenchman for example.
Besides that they are much more experienced as a team, while the national squad meet only a few times a year.

The only factor in favour of the national squads maybe national pride. But the possibility of winning the World Cup alone should be motivation enough for the club teams to level that advantage.

I make Hitro's words mine.

Just one thing:

"Superclub" is something really relative. A few time ago, FIFA has organized a "clubs world championship" here in Brazil, with the winner of our league, and the winners of several confearation leagues.

One of the teams was the presumibly invincible Manchester United, Full of stars and considered favourite.

They came here and were absolutelly crushed by "Vasco da Gama" in the Maracană. 3 X O really didn't express the superiority Vasco had in that game, even with far less "stars".

It's not something that i tell with glee, because Vasco is the Grand Foe of my team, Flamengo... but is pure reality.

Well, they lost the final to Corinthians (penaltys), so THIS part i'm happy to say  .

regards :).
