So Capac declared on me. Now Because of his damn airships I had to reserach and accumulate a few fighters before entering his territory. His invasion failed miserably and now the Peacekeeping motion is proposed in the U.N. just as Im about to launch my furious revenge.

If I defy it, will that penalty ever go away?
I know that normal motions like Anti-Nuclear Profileration you can vote a second time to void the unhappiness. What about circumstancial motions like Peacekeeping?

it's just the same, vote for a motion that passes, and the unhappiness goes away.

Any motion?
I was under the impression that you have to pass the same motion after Defying (like Nuclear Profileration)

I am not sure, I think its when you stop DEFYING and regardless of your yes no abstain you should lose one lot of unhappyness should it pass.

**I think**

You get no unhappiness even if the motion you defy get unsufficient votes to pass?
Because I had that happen right now, or it was Apostlic Palace because I don't have that religion.

OK This is my ace in the hole. I share a continent with Mali, Mongol and Aztec... I am confusionist and they are all hindu.
They are Cautious at me, except for Aztec are constantly Furious and share a direct border. All of them are friendly with each other.

Now Ive whipped and beelined for the AP as I knew that if the hindus got it, I was bound to be a bloody spot on the grass where my capitol used to be.

So Im the only FULL member in the Confusist AP and of course I am leader. Ive managed to squeeze a missionary into their cities to convert ONE city each for them, making all of them VOTING members. Thats my hidden ace.

I have all the votes in the AP, the hindus have like 3 votes each. So if they mass invade me, ie. Aztec invade and gets his two Big Friends to join in, I can pass a -stop the war against me- resolution...

If they vote no, They can NOT out-vote me.. (heh) SO one or some of them must defy the vote.

If they defy, they get a negative hit on happy? Five or ten frownies??? (I play on Epic speed)

PLus I have the Statue of Zeus so I dont think they will be able to produce anything in their cities should they defy a notion to stop fighting.

That negative on the Defying will stay even after the impending war is over?? Untill they vote for a resolution that passes? Ive read around and thats what Im gathering, but books, forums and civopedes tend to clash with each other ;)
