i i recently installed the 1.74 patch for civ 4 so i can play online, ive only had the game a week. anyway, i installed the patch and inserted the cd, when i double click on the shortcut to play it it says:

This application has failed to start because d3dx9_32.dll was not found. Re-Installing the application may fix this problem

So i did reinstall civ 4 and still it came up with the same error message.

Im running windows vista home premium 32-bit, is it no compatible with vista or something.
