Okay, I had been wondering what scenarios that this new game will have? I really would like to see RFC in DS or Wii. A whole new experience for gamers, doesn't it?

View Full Version : Think about scenarios!!!! Zhuge_Liang Oct 10, 2007, 01:20 PM Okay, I had been wondering what scenarios that this new game will have? I really would like to see RFC in DS or Wii. A whole new experience for gamers, doesn't it? Swedishguy Oct 15, 2007, 07:54 AM "RFC"? These abbreviations suck. I think it might mean "Rise and Fall oc Civilization", but I might be wrong. The Earth map scenario gotta be in! Miles Teg Oct 16, 2007, 12:32 PM I'm only familiar with the DS version, so heres my 2 cents. The Ds version might ship with a map editor, it will probably have some maps and some official scenarios, Don't expect to be able to alter rules. Zhuge_Liang Oct 16, 2007, 12:36 PM I hope CivRev has worldbuilder. Imperator1984 Oct 17, 2007, 03:57 AM I'm glad they got rid of religions and corporations. I always felt stupid playing as Muslim Vikings, Hindu Romans, etc etc. Also if there's no Earth map i'm going to be severly disappointed. Please include an Earth map and some Historically oriented scenarios like the Crusades, Rise of Rome, Fall of Rome!, The Colonization of the Americas and perhaps a Ottomans invade Europe scenario. Another thing, get rid of the African "civilizations", only allow African tribal villages or "barbarians". It always makes me mad when a frickin' spear chuckin' Zulu attacks me with a battleship. I haven't owned a console since I sold my ps2 about five years ago. CivRevolutions and hopefully GTA IV will make an investment in a ps3 worthwile. Vael Oct 17, 2007, 11:58 AM It's a console game... that means there won't be any modding, period. ;) Will9 Oct 17, 2007, 10:19 PM It's a console game... that means there won't be any modding, period. ;) Actually it doesn't. Zhuge_Liang Oct 18, 2007, 12:49 AM Awwwwwwwwww.............. No WB? Vael Oct 18, 2007, 08:11 AM Actually it doesn't. What console games allow modding right now? cubsfan6506 Oct 18, 2007, 08:58 PM Halo 3 Ten CHar. Its certainly possible. Sub Oct 19, 2007, 12:05 AM What console games allow modding right now? Unreal Tournament 3 will allow full blown mod support on the Playstation 3, supposedly. In any case, the best we can hope for is a world builder, and I'm doubtful we'll get that. Vael Oct 19, 2007, 07:34 AM Halo 3 Ten CHar. Its certainly possible. What can you actually change? Civfan333 Oct 19, 2007, 01:55 PM What can you actually change? In Halo 3, You can put in vehicles. And a lot of other stuff. But i'm not sure because I've only heard and read about it.:D :D ;) cubsfan6506 Oct 19, 2007, 02:35 PM You can change weapons place stuff. Its not real modding but you could certainly place units on a civ map. Zhuge_Liang Oct 30, 2007, 10:34 AM Halo 3? I don't like alien games so far. I like history. Eddie81 Oct 30, 2007, 02:51 PM Another thing, get rid of the African "civilizations", only allow African tribal villages or "barbarians". It always makes me mad when a frickin' spear chuckin' Zulu attacks me with a battleship. Don't give me that crap... all things considered, the zulu performed well against the british http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anglo-Zulu_War#A_tough_challenge Eio Oct 30, 2007, 03:34 PM I'm sure will see some downloadable scenarios and civs via Xbox Live for the 360 version. PenguinInTux Nov 01, 2007, 06:14 AM There is defenitley a worldbuilder. If you look at the tank picture in the gallery, you see the year is 6000 BC:) Zhuge_Liang Nov 01, 2007, 07:28 AM Also noticed it......... :):);):):) cubsfan6506 Nov 01, 2007, 08:42 PM Or Firaxis hasn't impleamented the years yet. Zhuge_Liang Nov 02, 2007, 05:57 AM Maybe the game experience malfunction in that screenshot. PenguinInTux Nov 02, 2007, 07:40 PM :pat: It's WB, now accept it before i use smily w/ knife :D settler114 Nov 02, 2007, 11:28 PM Scenarios?AWsome!!!! Imagine WW2!
