I've been getting a CTD when I click on the factory option in the civipedia could be due to the solver's events mod but I don't think so I also have not installed the latest patch just yet. Thanks in advance for your help

this is a bug introduced by the 3.03 patch, basically most links in the civilopedia will crash. Install 3.13 and this problem is gone. Solver's events have been (slightly altered) incorporated into 3.13 so you won't miss most of them :)
