A mod for Battlefield 1942, and apparently, someday BF2 as well. Who plays it and what are your thoughts? I like it, to this day I play it, what, 5 years after BF1942 came out? Fun stuff, good maps, etc. But what's bugging me is their mod for BF2, It's been at least 3 1/2 years, and no release! And on top of that, they're only releasing North African maps in their first pack, meaning I'll probably have to wait a decade until I can see myself running down the streets of Stalingrad or flying over the English Channel. WTF Mate!? On that note... anyone know of decent mods for BF2?

I loved it! I appreciated the assumed realism of the weapons and vehicles!

Now I await Forgotten Hope 2. :(

So people still play FH for BF1942?

Hmm, I should download it and try it out.

It's definitely worth the enormous DL, I even gave up BF2 to go back to it, which is why I want FH2 out already, so I can get back to the awesome-neweressness of BF2 with WWII going on. Also, there is an FH realism pack, to make it even more realist (better sounds, uniforms, flags- because FH didn't want Nazi or Imperial Japanese imagery in so that everyone could have fun).
But anyway, besides FH's obvious greatness, why the hell isn't FH2 a few releases out already!?!?!

maybe nobody wants to pay them or...... bf2 is shite/not worth the effort ? ;)

I'm waiting for FH2 for BF2.
