My game crashes on startup saying "Fatal error: Failed Initialising Python". I can't find any patches for this, so (unfortunately) my only option is to reinstall the game every time. Can someone please help?

I assume you are talking about Beyond the Sword? did you try patching to the newest patch? Did you uninstall completely, i.e. including a manual deletion of the my games/Beyond the sword directory after the uninstall?

Yes, I had downloaded the 3.1.3 patch just a couple of days ago, if not yesterday, hoping to solve this problem. I uninstall through the right click, delete, add/remove programs method. Does that make a difference?

use add/remove programs, it will then leave some stuff like the my games/beyond the sword directory, you have to go and delete that manually prior to installing anew.
