During the world cup I have noticed that the majority of the kits are supplied by nike. Adidas have backed off slightly maybe? Maybe not, Adidas has stepped up its advertising policy with the footballitis advert, however Nike has responded with the "First Goal Wins" in a boat adverts, both credible in my view. It seems for now, that these sports giants are using football for their image at the moment.
