I' making a scenario which recalls medieval Europe since 1000 a.D..
I'm thinking at a giant/huge map. I will put civs from Europe mod 1.3 (and perhaps others).
I would like scenario to start in 1000 a.D., but I don't know how to do that.
I can use the map "Europe" (huge; Civ4) to put which civs I want, but it starts in Ancient times. I'm only a beginner in this.

If you know a suitable map or a good way to do what I want, I'll glad to hear your voice.

you don't have to start in the ancient times, because you can give all civs techs (worldbuilder) and you can change the start date by editing the:
Bts -> Assets -> XML -> GlobalDefines -> Ctrl + F 4000. Of course you have to make a new folder to put the file in. Good luck!
