What's inside:

40 Civilizations fighting all around the world. All the continets are populated...
10 civs are in America, 5 in Africa, 2 in Australia and the others from Europe to Asia...
Prepare yourself for a total war experience... You will see Huge Enemy Armies!!!

Earth Giant Map balanced for this mod. It's the main map for play the mod.

Doesnt work for me, crashes my game after uploading mod during restart up. Could be an encoding error or maybe a version error I'm running 3.13.

My buddy tried on his comp and it also failed.

Great ideas though hope you get it to work!!!

Hey, I've got 3.13, and I'm in the same boat! I noticed that it seems to crash when loading the mod right at the XML portion of the load. I'm not sure if that will help you pinpoint the problem at all.

I really love this idea though! More suggestions would be Lhamas in South America, Chickens in South East Asia, Turkeys in North America and Tea in China.

Perhaps not all or any of these suggestions will be viable and I have no idea how to make this stuff happen myself, but I just thought with those extra extra resources on top of the ones you've already added the game would be near perfect.

Thanks for the hard work! The original mods are still really fun!

Me again,


so I noticed that Tobacco and Cotton are both labelled as Olives in the Map Editor and then I'm wondering... is this mod multiplayer? I'm trying to get a good multiplayer going with this but once I load the mod, no one seems to be able to see my game, even with the same mod loaded.


Anyway, first glances, this still looks like the best mod on the block.

Make sure your copy is BTS version 3.13

Probably Gravey is right... I made this MOD for BTS 3.13 version!!!
Check your version!

That's how to install the mod:
Unzip the file in the MOD folder. You will have a folder called Earth 34 Civs
Then Launch the Mod and choose map Earth 34 Civs.

For Install BLUE MARBLE just download it. Then Launch the exe... And chose HIGH QUALITY... That program is self installing...

Simply open the map file earth34 civs with notepad...

Then Change the tag Leadername=Italian Name with Leadername=Name you want ;)

NOTE that you can change all the italian words to your language!!! Just translate and overwrite the words with notepad and then SAVE and exit...

For Random Personality: Just UNCHECK the random personality during the game settings before starting a new game!!!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

For change Leader Names, Civilization Names, just read up here... (Can also change Leaders in the map just change LEADER_NameOfTheLeader with another one)

For the 3 letters leadername i suggest you to download again the map, that now has long leadernames .... :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

I'M also planning to add AUSTRALIAN and ABORIGENS civilizations in the map (Moving Hammurabi from Australia in Iraq) for better gameplay expirience!!! This mod will be soon uploaded!!!

But its alot of work to open that file with notepad and enter the names we want, and its not like I remember everyone either. Is there no file I can open and copy all the english leader names and paste them into your earth34.civs file ?

Looks like a great scenario but its just not playable with the italian names :)

Spoiler alert!

Great map! I was very perplexed by a few features though. I did not see any of the continental wonders available (Hanging Gardens and Notre Dame are examples). If they have been eliminated, perhaps the civilopedia and tech tree should be edited to reflect the changes. I haven't yet gotten to the modern era, but I'm assuming Hoover Dam is gone also.

I was also very surprised to see that the Dutch and Portuguese were not in their normal start locations. I got messages saying they had been eliminated before I visited the New World, and I had already mapped the old world, so I'm guessing they had start locations over there. That was confusing. The Celts starting out in central Asia was less confusing--if we call ourselves Caucasians, then supposedly out ancestors came from the Caucasus region of Russia....right?

Anyway, great mod and map. I really liked the way Europe worked, and the new resources were fabulous. I also liked allowing civs to choose which religion they founded--it got Christianity put in Europe (France researched it), but a New World civ founded Buddhism, which was a little wacko. But Taoism was founded in Asia, Judaism in the Middle East, so there was some reason to it. Did you code civs to have a favored religion?

I was also pleasantly surprised to find the Pyramids in Thebes. Is that just luck, or did you plan it that way?

Is like if Portugal is BRAZIL civilization...
Dutch instead is like SURINAME colony. The actual dutch colony in South America...

The same for SUMERIAN in middle Africa and CELTS in middle East... Just for a GAMEPLAY BALANCED...

For the religion I put the "RANDOM RELIGION" options checked in the starting options... All you saw is just the AI!!!!! ;)

Thanx for compliments... I will upgrade the mod with the inquisitor soon...

It's a great map and I enjoyed it, but the Next War technology and units aren't in it. Did you take them out? I've put the file earth 36 Civs in different places - I've tried it from My documents/ Games and My computer/ programs/ Firaxis/ BTS/ one in Mods and one in Maps. Still no Next War tech. Did you take it out? (I've tried other Next War games, and they have all the tech/ units.)

Also, how can I include the MAD Nukes mod in your 36 civs game, if possible?

I took off the next war tecnology cause the max UPLOAD SIZE is 10 MB...

If i put that mod in my mod I OVERSIZE and I can't Upload the 36 civ + resource version!!!

That's the PROBELM!!! :mad:

BUT you can easily add other mods to mine: Just check the NEXT WAR mod files that need to be merge in my mod...

I tried putting in the Next War files, but then your mod didn't work.

Nevermind, it did. I just have the regular resources now, but more units and buildings. Great mod - I like the way the world is balanced and that a Civ world map game finally has Australia on it!

Thanx a lot. I think that CAUSE the Inquisitor mod, some Phyton Files from NEXT WAR can't be merged... I did what you need on my FIRST VERSION of this mod. Maybe you can dowload that mod

Then you can change the map with This one for 36 civs...

Don't forgot to add the MODULES folder in this mod if you do this... :lol:
And remember that you will not have INQUISITOR on it...

Yeah, I don't have Inquisitor or the Australian unique unit, but I probably wouldn't use it that often and I always play as England anyway, so I prefer the Next War units :lol: .

I have a question about colonies. Whenever I make one, it's America; if I destroy Boudica, could I then have a Celtic colony, or will it still be America? I want a colony on Ireland this game, you see.

Well, I'm very messy with computer programs and the like, so I just picked up the fle I watched (Next War Enhanced), and dropped it into this mod. I then took out the XML files and copied/ pasted them into the XML files of this mod. The first time I did it this made the mod crash completely. I tried it again and it worked.

There's almost certainly a better way to do it, though.

This is honestly the only map I play now.

Australian Civ is MODULAR and I think you can easily merge it in your mod just moving the Custom Civilization\Australia folder into your mod... :goodjob:

Merging mods is what I did!!! I used Rhye's map, Bmarz Inquisitor, Aranor civilizations and i picked resources in other mods... Then I just merge those stuff and I did some modification to the map... The result is the map I Upload... For Merging mods is better if you know the XML language or will be hard to explain!!! :confused:

HOW TO MERGE VARIETAS DELECTAT 3.1 TO MY MOD:
1- Download Varietas Delectat And unzip him.
2- CUT and PASTE the files EthnicArtstyles_1.04.FPK and VarietasDelectat_v.3.1.FPK IN MY MOD FOLDER Earth 36 Civs\Assets
3-CUT and PASTE the folders Ethnic Artstyles and Varietas Delectat to Earth 36 Civs\Assets\Modules
4- Launch the game... Now Lots of units will be Different!!!

And as it is soon Xmas, anyone could tell me if there is a way to load a particular mod and then use some pre-made maps not particularly designed for it (I'm thinking about playing History in the Making that I love with a particular map without loosing all the specific civs, leaders, ressources... made in HiTM).

Sometimes is needed just to move the map IN THE MOD FOLDER, Under the private maps (or public maps). Watch out!!! Sometimes the map NEED the mods files to be copied too... For example MY MAP is unable to play without the entire mod!!! ;)

I also relocated Celts and Khmer...

If you're looking for another civilisation at any time, would you consider adding Tibet?

Where did you relocate Celts to - Ireland?

also, could you change the nuclear weapons like in the MAD Nukes mod? In that, nukes can be targetted at cities and are automatically launched if that civilisation nukes you. The nukes can also destroy entire cities. However, the global warming on it is absolutely ridiculous and ruins the game.

I'm off to play this mod now, actually :scan: :xmastree:

First off I want to say great mod+map, It's the only one I play lately. However, there seems to be a problem with the new version. When a civ finds a religion with the pre-req tech, they seem to get 2 religions instead of one. I went into the world builder when It seemed fishy that 2 religions where found the same year twice. In the bulder I found out that Charlemagne discovered med. and had 2 religions, Christanity and Hinduism. He had learned no other religious techs(it was only 26 turns into the game) Pretty big problem I figured I let you know. Again great mod. Thanks. Hope to see the problem resolved quickly so I can continue playing.

Thanks for report... I STILL NOTICE THIS PROBLEM to the creator of the mod LIMITED RELIGION... I realize that problem playing AFTER uploading that file...

However the error is "fixed" cause I Upload another version, with all the changes but with the "OLD" working inquisitor... :lol: :lol:

This is a very strange BUG! :mad: :mad: :mad: If you try to change language (for example italian of french) they will be displayed for appropriate name. I don't really know WHY they don't work for English!!!! Also if I named it in the right way!!! Check the file:

Earth 36 Civs\Assets\XML\Text\CIV4GameText_Civilopedia_Bonu ses.xml and you will see that I named it in the RIGHT WAY!!! :mad: :mad: :mad:

Names of Civs and leaders are in italian

Thanx for this report.... I ALREADY FIX THE PROBLEM AGAIN... Since I'm from Italy I always FORGOT this small "problem"... :lol: :lol: :lol:

Nice! Thanks for the update, looks good. Also I wanted to give some suggestions and feedback for the map for both balance and realism. I don't know if you prefer realism or balance, or both. But here goes...

1) First I would rename Portugal to Brazil, or replace Portugal with a Brazilian civ(it drives me crazy to see Lisbon where Sao Paolo should be. lol)

2) I would move the Dutch back to Europe(in Amsterdam), and I would rename(or change) and move the Holy Roman Empire to Poland( It seems Germany is always at the top and France is at the bottom, with HRE gone this leaves France to grow somewhat more. Also this allows Russia to have some early conflict with Poland.

3) I would move the Celts to Scotland or Ireland. This would encourage more war with England, and it would cause more naval battles. The Celt's near Mongolia just doesn't make sense, and now with Poland in the mix the Vikings won't become as strong.

4) African civ's seem to be almost always high in scores, especially Mali and Zulu. First I would rename Sumeria to Congo(just for realism, again just because it drives me crazy to see Sumeria in Africa.) and I would add a Nigerian civ.( I still haven't figured out who to move or delete. Maybe Greece or the Byzantine they are very similar in culture and Greece always ends up with 2 cities at the bottom of the score anyway.

I know those are a lot of suggestions I just feel realism and balance should go hand and hand, and this map+mod has the capability of having both realism and balance, and fun all in one!

Most of these suggestions I made were because of balance. I played over 15-20 games on this map and many of my friends have gave me feedback as well. In short, Africa is almost always strong, and Europe is fairly weak(besides Germany). Also Asia is almost always strong as well. I understand this will happen because of land, and number of cities, however we need to figure out a way for Europe to thrive just like Asia, and we need Africa to be less advanced in techs, and strength.

Please let me know what you think of my suggestions. Again thanks for this great map+mod I wasn't into civ for some time, but this map brought me back. The performance is perfect, even with all these civs. Very enjoyable map.

If you need any help, with city lists or anything let me know. Unfortunately I do not know how to mod, but I will help you in any way you need to perfect this project!

FIRST OF ALL I hope you can image HOW HARD is to do a BALANCED MAP when we speak of the PLANET EARTH IN THIS GAME!
Here's all answers you need...

Seems that they will UNBALANCE the game. A Civilization should not have a Holy City when the game start cause become "too much favourite" since the beginning of the game.

and ANSWER 3 : You can add "Inuits" (top america ? greenland ? top siberia ? top europa ?), "Indonesia" and 'Malaysia' still...

Will be still playable ? With 36 Civs my PC has again a few possibilities...

For example in 1500 my 4 Go of RAM was filled by 2/3...

I understand that South America will grow to large, but you did add Argentina so that should slow the growth some what. As Argentina will likely build up and force Portugal(Brazil) to build up as well.

Maybe renaming and relocating the Vikings to Sweden and renaming and relocating the Celts to a Norwegian or Finnish civ?

What about moving HRE to Poland? This will allow France to grow more. The HRE really doesn't have a place on this map with both Germany and France, in my opinion.

I'm of European descent as well, Italian-American actually, so I understand that it's difficult who to remove and who is more or less important. I just personally feel HRE can be moved to Poland, for both balance and realism.

Also I like the idea of diff. religions for Meso-American civs, and Greek/Egyptian/Roman polytheism.

Actually i still did some little modifications for Greenland area and Tibet area,
And add some "booster resources" to Celts, Portugal, Greece, Bizantines and Rome... A "Better Balanced Map" is very difficult to do alone...

Any Ideas are appriciate after you played the mod...

A problem with Barbarians : why do you have placed barbarians settlers ?

Because barbarian ai dont use settlers, you should preplace barbarians cities on the map...

I have a big problem : i'm Justinian I i have christian holy city and alll my neighbours and even far civs have christianity and the civs are not very warriors...

I'm the highest score in the world and also the best power of the christian nations...

I'm justing FIXING MAP resources and plots so I can render the game more various at each game... (For example, Mansa Musa will not be ALWAYS the best in the new version I'm editing)...

For what about religions, I must admit that cause the 5 new resources and the Inquisitor unit, the PHYTON and the GAMEFONT.TGA are already ALTERED and I think is a job that is OVER my skill... However My idea is very hard to realize: At least 10 religion in game, but only 7 of them can be researched, CHOOSED, and founded, so at each time we have some differents faiths in game... :lol: :lol: :lol: Wich one I CAN PLAN TO ADD???

Stop Playing NOBLE skill, and set difficult to PRINCE or on MONARCH... (Monarch is too hard to play! Is a NIGHTMARE!!! :eek:)

Seems like ATOMIC GAMER don't let me upload the "Debugged" Map I've Done... The Upload always freeze about at 40%...

The size is 126 MB rar archive. I add Diplo Music and Varietas Delectat Files for ALL CIVILIZATIONS IN GAME (Modulars too). I also changed some plots and resources... So every "bug" in game is fixed. That should be the Final Version and I really would to upload and finish all this job...

I'm a little bit :mad::mad: :mad: about this...

Yes, CivFanatics has 10 Mb limit. I think that breaking mod in pieces will be not a good idea to people that have no skill with "Files Management" and in "Merging Mod Pieces".... :(

At least I can just upload the map without any Modify applied to the XML files... :( :( :(

Just split your mod in 2 parts...
If you really need other means to upload it in 1 huge part I may be able to provide you with a fast server.
But this really depends on the traffic it generates...

If you're interested just contact me via PM and I'll give you FTP access.
(If it generates too much traffic - even so the server can take pretty much - I'll remove it after some time...)

Here's what I add in my Final version (that I still can't upload :mad:)
Probably It depends from my E-DSL connection that sometimes Break Down and stop the upload... (:mad: )

- Added INQUISITOR LIMITED RELIGIONS MOD by Bmarnz. (Civilizations can found just ONE RELIGION!) (Specially for Lachlan :lol:)

I finally FIX the Limited Religion problem I had on my mod. Now seems to work so I add this one Instead of Inquisitor 1.6...

- Added VARIETAS DELECTAT 3.1 effect changes to MODULAR CIVILIZATIONS

(So, for example, now Masaai are BLACK SKINNED as ZULU...)

- Barbarian CITIES ADDED replacing Barbarians SETTLERS.

(So now Barbarian cities try to "retard" the over-rise of some civs)

- FIXED some MAP PLOTS for BALANCED GAMEPLAY.

(This also let some Civs to have more resources... For example I add 2 Horses resources in America)

- Added Varietas Delectat 3.1 to the MOD

(So, now You don't need to merge It to my mod cause is still included in it...)

Actually, I'm trying to upload this final version...

Really? How did u get it to work then? I installed it on mine and my brothers pc.. Then I loaded the mod on both, clicked multiplayer, and loaded scenario (the edited map) and then waited in the staging room. But my brother couldnt see me in the staging room, and I couldnt see his game in the staging room when he tried the same.

So we just sat down and fantasized about how cool it would be if multiplayer would work for us. Still, I am very surprised you got it to work! The question now is...HOW?

In the Earth 40 Civs.ini file try to set this thing:

; This mod is only for single player games
SinglePlayerOnly = 0

Try to change SinglePlayerOnly = 0 to SinglePlayerOnly = 1

I just tested it and it doesnt work. The word "multiplayer" cant be chosen. When I return it to "singleplayeronly=0 I can choose multiplayer. But then in the stagingroom, I cannot choose the "new game" option. When I load the scenario to be able to play the world map, my brother cant see me in the staging room although he has the same mod installed. It isnt like that with other mods, but with this one it is :(


Any suggestions?? :)

I downloaded this with ~500kb ;)
I only tried multiplayer with direct IP connection and that worked...
Is there some kind of quickfix for the religion problem? I want to start a game this evening but this may be a serious flaw...

Btw I think this doesn't really matter but I just noticed (while trading some CIVS for Barbarians to improve performance) that some starting locations arent correctly specified...
MAGYAR, TIBET, AUSTRALIA, ABORIGINES, ARGENTINA, CANADA, MAASAI, BRAZIL all got StartingX=1, StartingY=1 ...
I'm aware that these are all the custom Civs... just wanted to mention...

edit: some others seem to have 0,0...

Like I said - I'm not a modder...
I tried to exchange some CIVs for Barbarians but the Map crashes on initializing.
I searched for errors and tryed several solutions f.ex. removing corresponding entryes in the other mod files.
Anyway - even if I only remove 1 Civ the map crashes... :mad:
Got a hint for me? :confused:

First of all, your mod package doesn't include all the VD XML files needed to load the game. I have to copy and paste the \assets\XML\ directory from the VD mod over your mod for this to work. Had to do this last version (38 Civs) to manually merge the VD mod with yours. I think you have some VD files in one of the upper directories to your mod on your system. Hence when trying to load, it doesn't find them in your MOD and loads them from defaults somewhere else (\civ4\bts\assets or civ4\assets\ ?).

From your last version (38 civs), I was not sure why your last mod kept dying at load up of the scenario, so I installed a clean copy of BTS and 3.13 patch puls updated graphics drivers and still crashed. Worked ok without VD, but won't load with VD, so I copied the VD \assets\XML\ files (only ones different than your mod) and worked ok. Same thing this mod version (40 civ full). Any one else have this problem?

Confirmed no religion options in tech for Arabian civ. Will dig around to see if I can get lucky, but hard to figure with all the add in mods.

Weird, if I select Custom Scenario and turn off "choose religion" then I can found Budhism with Arabians even though it doesn't say I can in the tech tree.

johnjohn First of all, your mod package doesn't include all the VD XML files needed to load the game. I have to copy and paste the \assets\XML\ directory from the VD mod over your mod for this to work.

I know. In the 38 Civs version I told everybody that VD files are missing and that you need to dowload and merge it by yourself... :lol:

Yup, It's true. That's cause you download the LIMITED RELIGION version of my mod... I realized that some civs can found Religions, and Other Civs can't (:mad:) ... Plus the tech tree doesn't say you can (:mad:) . That's why I upload this "fixed" version that don't use Limited Religions. As you can read some post before, this problem is very annoying and I'm still looking for some Good Guy :mischief: :mischief: that Fix it for me, since I'm unable to do this... :D :D

However, I think that the version I uploaded yesterday should be FREE FROM BUGS!!! And for the moment should be the final one...

Other plans I have is to ADD the NEXT WAR MOD stuffs and to Fix the LIMITED RELIGION bug... However since now I'm healed, cause I was sick and I had lot of time to "improve my mod", now progress will be SLOWER cause I need to go back to work and return to social life... :crazyeye: :crazyeye: :crazyeye:

I only tried multiplayer with direct IP connection and that worked...
Is there some kind of quickfix for the religion problem? I want to start a game this evening but this may be a serious flaw...

Btw I think this doesn't really matter but I just noticed (while trading some CIVS for Barbarians to improve performance) that some starting locations arent correctly specified...
MAGYAR, TIBET, AUSTRALIA, ABORIGINES, ARGENTINA, CANADA, MAASAI, BRAZIL all got StartingX=1, StartingY=1 ...
I'm aware that these are all the custom Civs... just wanted to mention...

edit: some others seem to have 0,0...

How does this work? We cannot have an MP game :( Its so frustrating!

Sure you can - its not necessary or wise to use the online services (especially) in lokal networks ;)
First you got to decide who wants to host the game (server) and find out his LAN-IP::
Just hit
start->run-> type: cmd -> type: ipconfig
to get the IP on the server cmputer.
You will get some Info on all your network devices.
You need the IP Adress of your LAN device (which is connected to the router or directly to your brothers PC) - It may look something like this 192.168.0.1 .

Then get into the game and choose direct IP -> the server needs to host/start a game - the client just need to enter the IP and connect to the server.
(The menu-names may differ - didn't check...)

If you need screens or got further questions just ask... :confused:
Also you may need to open up some ports on the router....

Are you sure you're running the newest BTS version? In some previous version custon GFX wasn't allowed...

hi! i really loved the previous version of this map and i was really looking forward to play the current one!

unfortunately the whole game always crashes wenn the map is loading. have it all fresh installed, patch 3.13 and so on

it crashes after choosing civ then when it loads the map and displays "initializing graphics"

- have a P4 3Ghz, Geforce 7600GT (tested both old and newest driver), 2GB ram
- it doesn't matter which civ i choose
- doesn't matter if playing with blue marble or not
- doesn't matter if i make a custom scenario or play the ready-to-go earth40civ scenario

does somebody know why and how to solve it ?? would be great !! normal game is working, it's only a problem with this mod. but i would love to be able to play it !!!!

edit: did a complete fresh install of the game, this time i patched every version before i installed the addons. first the basic game, then patch 1.74 then warlords etc.
result: same problem as before. game crashes after i chose my nation while its loading the map "initializing graphics" .... then windows...

oohh why can't i get it workin'....would be sooo a nice christmas present ... =((

I would say that this mod works on my pc also without varietas delectat 3.6

I merged Varietas Delectat 3.6 to my mod and I did some little modifications to the map.


MOD UPDATED JUNE 11 2008

Now it should works perfectly with any Configuration. Let me know if there are problems...

the gamespeedinfo.html is edited by myself. In NORMAL speed time will past slower than in normal game and research cost will be high. I suggest you to play this mod with NORMAL SPEED

could you list new civilization?
is this mod Multiplayer compatible?

You can check the new civilizations list and all the changes on the Update log in the 1st page of this thread. I think this mod is MP compatible.... I guess...

I tried out your mod last night and it looks great. You have put a lot of effort into it and it is much appreciated. I have a couple of concerns thought before I give in for a game. Firstly, everything is in Italian! Is there an easy way to fix this? I tried editing various xml files, using the Dutch and English civs for testing but the leader names stayed in Italian even if I removed all traces of the Italian names in all the XML files. I saw a few pages back that it looks like the actual map file can be edited? I didn't try that but I was hoping there was some global flag that just needs to be set back to English.

Secondly, have you or anyone tried a marathon game using this mod? I see many of the earth map mods suffer from weird bugs when playing marathon such as the game finishing extra early. I only play at that speed and don't feel like spending a week playing the game only to find that it ends in 1900! :)

I never tried marathon cause i set the NORMAL SPEED altered research and years speed that should be accurate for this map. Try normal speed and not Marathon... The game is slower enough in this way i think.

Dude, my map is still large, but if you need larger one first of all you need a SUPER COMPUTER. However, if you are skilled in modding civilization IV, you can pick a bigger earth map (there are lots) on the forum and convert it in my mod.

Yeah they both have .DLL files, and I have no idea how to make a new .DLL file, or combine the .DLL files... =(

Excellent map. Carthage is actually playable (very rare on an Earth map) and theres no lag .
I have a few quibbles with resource placement but nothing serious, oh, and I'm still getting the Italian names but its not like I can't tell whos who.

edit: I did find Normal Speed still seems far too quick (for me used to playing at Marathon) despite the changes you made to it. Love the Olives.

Resuorce placement is for balance... I quit the idea to put realistic resuorces cause with 40 civs is hard to have a different game experience each time. Some civs becomes always leader in this map...

For the italian names just download the map without italian names in the first post and replace it.

Normal speed is maybe too quick but depend by the "power" of your civilization... However is easy to edit the gamespeedinfo.xml for what you require...

I like olives resource too... That's why i put them...! A Mediterranean Resource... :lol:

Hi Yeekim.

Yes, "No capitulation" is an option i choose in my mod.
I choose this option because I realized that civs that are going to lose will always become vassal of other powerful civs. This will never let them eliminated from the game (cause if you attack them, you need to decleare war to their powerful "owners" too... and in a 40 civs map is required that lots of civilizations need to be destroyed for let the game more fun.

For let the Vassal State option enabled you need to load my mod. Choose CUSTOM SCENARIO, then my map Earth Giant and uncheck the box with NO VASSAL STATE.

Hope you understand now.

You mean that continents are unbalanced? :rolleyes:

Well... I don't completly understand the question... However... If you want this map "clean" you can do this:

- Start a new game using this map and choose egypt civilization.
- Enter the EDITOR MODE.
- Clean Civilizations you want and replace them where you want. Edit whatever you want in the map.
- Save the map once you edited and add that map in Private maps on my mod Folder.

I think there's an option that says "Random start location" too... but I'm not 100% sure...

Hope I got what you need...

Okay after analysing the errormessages i was able to repair them.

For some reasons the mod does not know the color "lime". So i just changed them into green. I don't get the errormessages anymore and i am know able to play the multiplayer with friends :D

PS: if someone have the same problem-> here is the solution

Open "Tupi_CIV4PlayerColorInfos.xml" in "Earth 40 Civs\Assets\Modules\Custom Civilizations\Tupi"

Then Replace <ColorTypePrimary>COLOR_PLAYER_LIME</ColorTypePrimary>
into <ColorTypePrimary>COLOR_PLAYER_GREEN</ColorTypePrimary>

Same with <TextColorType>COLOR_PLAYER_LIME_TEXT</TextColorType>
into <TextColorType>COLOR_PLAYER_GREEN_TEXT</TextColorType>

I've played this mod in a earlier version in multiplayer, but my friend had the problem that the game crashed quite often. With this version and my fix it works fine on both sides ;)

Okay after analysing the errormessages i was able to repair them. For some reasons the mod does not know the color "lime".

That was quite simple to fix. Instead of change color, you can also define the color LIME in Civ4ColorVals. But the important is that now it works.

Looks nice, it's a shame that Play.com cancelled the ordered CivIV BtS. I have been waiting since april this year and i did'nt know about it.
