I was just introduced to this game and I was wondering how I should introduce myself to it.

Should I start at Shogun TW and move up? Should I just get Medieval II TW and play until Empire comes out?

I'm thinking of getting TW Eras. That seems like a good place to start.

I'm so excited I don't know what to do.

I think you should either get Rome TW or Medieval II TW. Or you can get TW eras.

Eras is the way to go. Rome and Medieval II have wonderful graphics, but then Shogun and Medieval I are their own kind of fun, too. For all the eye candy that RTW is, I still play Viking Invasion (the MTW expansion). I don't own Shogun, mostly because I can't find it anywhere other than Eras, and I'm not going to buy it for one game and one expansion.

Shogun is a lot of fun :D

Rome and M2 have loads of fun mods for them.

I've never played M1 thou.


So yeah get Eras ;)
