I was wondering if you would get Advanced starts, because I enjoy starting in a different era (e.g. Classical). Please vote and speak your opinion in this Thread.

That sounds Ideal for a console system for a quicker game

From all I've heard the game will be fairly quick even starting at the beginning. 3-4 hours is the numbers I hear.

^ and 3-4 hours can still be considered long for a console game... what if people want a 1 hour World War match... it should definitely be included.

I highly doubt there will be advanced starts options, and personally do not feel it would be worth the while included.

I think there will be advanced starts for those who wants. But it destroys a big part of the game in my opinion.

there are no advanced starts. but given the nature of the game, i'm sure you'll find they aren't needed.
